Targeting Officer (TS/SCI)

About the role

Leidos, a leading government contractor, has been awarded a long-term Intelligence Program in Northern Virginia called Beacon. It is seeking Targeting Officers at all levels (1 to 20+ years of experience) with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph to work with a team of intelligence professionals on operations against priority targets. The work takes place at client sites in Northern Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify targeting leads to enable a variety of intelligence operations.
• Review specialized data for intelligence leads.
• Draft comprehensive targeting packages in support of the client's objectives.
• Engage stakeholders to address requirements and develop new leads for exploitation.
• Conduct detailed searches on items of interest and relay pertinent data to customer components in written reports and briefings.

Required profile

• Current active TS/SCI with Polygraph; candidates without this clearance are disqualified.
• Typically a BA degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6-10 years; additional experience can substitute for a degree.
• Experience in intelligence research and targeting, supporting national security operations, and familiarity with the Intelligence Community.
• Ability to research and analyze, organize and prioritize, solve problems, work on several tasks at once, work in a team and in a high-paced environment, coordinate with multiple agencies, and support senior decision makers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in manipulating databases in support of the customer mission.
• Strong analytic writing and editing skills.

Pay range: $92,300 - $166,850.
