Security Operations Center Operator

About the role

Allied Universal, a global security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Operations Center Operator for its dispatch center in Los Angeles, California. The officer serves and safeguards clients across industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education and government. The position is full time, pays $25.00 per hour and requires weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and solve problems.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor closed-circuit television systems and alarms.
• Monitor and operate facility computer systems regularly, as assigned.
• Handle security issues or emergencies appropriately and contact emergency services such as EMTs and the fire department.

Required profile

• Valid California Guard card.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
