Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in O Fallon, MO. The role serves and safeguards clients across industries such as financial institutions, acting as a welcoming, highly visible presence who assists visitors, manages access, monitors entry activity and responds to security concerns while delivering good customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and clients by following site-specific security procedures, policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Manage front desk access: greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials and keep accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras and other security systems from the front desk and report irregularities per site procedure.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, requests for assistance and critical situations, escalating them when needed.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, support controlled access to restricted areas and help deter unauthorized entry.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen as conditions of employment.
• Licensing may be required depending on state and local laws.
