Security Intern

About the role

Legends Global, a partner to live events, venues and brands, is hiring a Security Intern within its Information Technology department, reporting to the VP of Cybersecurity. The internship is based on site in Conshohocken, PA and is paid hourly.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard log sources into the organization's security event management (SIEM) system to improve monitoring and visibility.
• Partner with security analysts to develop and document SOC playbooks for incident response and standard operating procedures.
• Create and maintain dashboards tracking security metrics, KPIs and KRIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Assist with security awareness initiatives, including training coordination, testing and user engagement.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Preferred: exposure through coursework, internships or academic projects to technology, security, systems engineering or data analysis.
• Strong interest in enterprise technology, cybersecurity and systems architecture.

Required skills

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, able to tackle complex, loosely defined problems.
• Ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with relational databases.
