Security Guard - Telecommunication

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Guard for a temporary position in Bellingham, Washington. The guard serves and safeguards clients across a range of industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education and government. The pay rate is $22 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working conditions may vary by client site.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Security experience of at least 1 year (listed as C115).
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen, as permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions; licensing requirements depend on state and local laws.
