Security Engineer

About the role

CMT Services Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to support the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The role focuses on implementing security controls, identity management, and threat detection while ensuring federal compliance across applications and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
• Support ATO/ATU processes and secure integrations for the Databricks Lakehouse.
• Develop and maintain enterprise and data architecture blueprints, system inventories, and governance standards.
• Engineer APIs, integration interfaces, and ETL/ELT pipelines, including testing and remediation.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience implementing security controls, IAM, and threat detection in federal environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical discipline.
