Security Account Manager - Shipping Center

About the role

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Account Manager for its shipping center in Lakeville, Minnesota. The Account Manager leads daily security operations, guides and develops a team of security officers and supervisors, and acts as the main point of contact for clients. The pay rate is $65,124 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scheduling with AI-powered tools, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
• Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance and employee relations
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure high-quality service
• Respond to escalated incidents and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams
• Oversee training, safety and site operational standards, and manage inventory of uniforms, equipment and supplies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; licensing may be required depending on state and local law
• At least two years of experience in business operations, security management or team supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading, developing and retaining a team while building client relationships
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments and law enforcement coordination
• Preferred: college degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement field, and law enforcement, military or security/facility management experience

Required skills

• Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or personal vehicle while on business
• Nice to have: payroll, billing or scheduling experience; CCTV, access control and badge administration aptitude; ASIS CPP certification
