Second Shift Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Second Shift Laundry Attendant works the 3 p.m.‑10 p.m. shift to ensure all linens and garments are cleaned, dried, and prepared for use. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Sort laundry by color, fabric, and type, then load washers with appropriate detergents.
• Transfer washed items to dryers, monitor temperature, and ensure proper drying.
• Fold, hang, or package laundered items for distribution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area.
• Track inventory of detergents, bleach, and softeners, and ensure equipment functions correctly.
• Address customer requests, questions, and complaints professionally.
• Operate and troubleshoot washers, dryers, irons, and steamers.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift heavy loads, push carts, and stand for long periods.
• Technical understanding of laundry equipment and fabric care.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific garment instructions.
