Seasonal Sales Associate - Houston Galleria

About the role

BoxLunch Houston Galleria is looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to help deliver its civic-minded, pop culture-driven brand. The associate provides excellent customer service so fans can get the merchandise they love, shares fandom knowledge, stocks and replenishes products and helps merchandise the store attractively, with a strong focus on the in-store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create a great shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showing product knowledge and customer service skills
• Cover the sales floor zone and keep assigned areas up to visual standards
• Work the register, processing sales and driving add-on sales through options such as BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture and merchandising mix
• Share fashion trend information with management and HQ partners
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of merchandise
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Carry out any other activities assigned by the Store Leader

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a retail environment
• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved store equipment and pack and unpack boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
