School Site Assistant – Great Valley Annex (4.5 hrs/day, various shifts)

About the role

The Manteca Unified School District is seeking a reliable School Site Assistant to support daily operations at the Great Valley Annex. This part‑time position works 4.5 hours per day on varying shifts, providing essential supervision and assistance to school‑age children.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students during assigned periods to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Assist teachers and staff with classroom setup, material distribution, and routine tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment on the school site.
• Support student transitions between activities, lunch, and recess.
• Report any incidents or concerns to school administration promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of, or experience working with, school‑age children.
• Experience supervising students in a school setting is desirable.
• Ability to obtain TB clearance and fingerprinting at the employee’s expense.
• Preference will be given to internal candidates.
