School Office Manager

About the role

The School Office Manager will serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors at Sagewood STEAM Academy. Working closely with the Principal, this role ensures smooth daily operations, accurate record‑keeping, and compliance with FERPA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all school‑wide communications via phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
• Greet and direct visitors, implement registration and badging procedures for parents and guests.
• Assist with student enrollment, orientation, tours, and the production of welcome packets.
• Maintain student records, attendance submissions, truancy processes, withdrawals, and transcripts in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare reports, handle mail and packages, coordinate meetings and events, and maintain calendars.
• Maintain office supplies, inventory, and report issues related to equipment, technology, custodial, and facilities.
• Support school events such as Parent Orientation, Open House, outings, and field trips.
