School Nurse – Student Health & Education

About the role
We are seeking a qualified School Nurse to provide health education, counseling, and emergency care to students during school hours. The role supports the overall well‑being of pupils and contributes to a comprehensive school health program.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction and individual health education and counseling to students.
- Provide emergency care for illness or injury in accordance with first‑aid guidelines.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to interpret and address student health status.
- Participate in the development, management, and evaluation of the school’s health program.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship; male applicants born after 12/31/1959 must complete Selective Service certification.
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and NCLEX, or an active, unrestricted RN license.
- Ability to pass a Tier 1 background investigation, childcare checks, and random drug testing.
- Direct deposit for payroll and compliance with all employment conditions.
