School Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) – NYC

About the role

We are seeking Registered Nurses to provide school‑day nursing coverage in New York City schools, primarily in the East and South Bronx. This position offers daytime hours aligned with the academic calendar, allowing you to focus on meaningful clinical work without night, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing coverage during the school day in assigned schools.
• Administer medication and deliver basic clinical care as needed.
• Support students with chronic health conditions and respond to health concerns or emergencies.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate health records.
• Coordinate with school staff, families, and health teams to promote student well‑being.

Required profile

• Active New York State RN license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health preferred.
• Strong assessment abilities and capacity to work independently.
