SAP Yard Logistics & Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional SME

About the role

CACI is hiring a full-time, regular SAP Yard Logistics and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Subject Matter Expert, working remotely from any state. The role supports the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) and acts as the functional authority for SAP S/4HANA Yard Logistics and EWM in an Agile environment, bridging system capabilities with real-world movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure yard structure, checkpoints, gate processing, vehicle check-in/out, dock door assignment and yard task management, and inbound, outbound and internal movement processes
• Integrate EWM, Yard Logistics and Transportation Management (TM) so shipments, assets and inventory are visible across the supply chain
• Work in an Agile team: sprint planning, backlog refinement, user stories and acceptance criteria, and iterative delivery
• Run fit-gap analysis, write functional specifications and recommend solutions that balance standard SAP functionality with operational needs
• Lead SIT/UAT, support cutover and deployment, and help stabilize operations after go-live
• Analyze operations for efficiency gains, recommend process improvements, and support data integrity, reporting dashboards and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with TM, MM, FI/CO/FM and asset/equipment teams

Required profile

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
• 7-10+ years of SAP functional experience with deep expertise in EWM and Yard Logistics, or equivalent education and experience
• Proven experience in Agile teams and in delivering iterative enhancements

Required skills

• Deep hands-on experience with SAP EWM in S/4HANA and expert knowledge of SAP Yard Logistics
• Strong understanding of SAP TM integration points and solid knowledge of SD and MM
• Fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, testing leadership (SIT/UAT) and stakeholder communication

Desired: SAP certification in EWM, Yard Logistics or TM; S/4HANA implementation experience; DoD or government logistics knowledge; data migration and master data management; warehouse automation (RFID, barcode); SAP Fiori, APIs/IDocs, reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, BW) and Lean/Six Sigma.

Pay range: $90,300-$189,600, depending on location, contract category, experience and skills.
