SAP TM Functional Consultant (Remote)

About the role

CACI is seeking an SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to support the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), a unified combatant command that provides global transportation and logistics support for U.S. military operations. The role sits at the intersection of SAP S/4HANA technology and defense operations, leading the design and optimization of TM solutions with deep integration into Financial Accounting and other SAP modules, ensuring accurate freight cost settlement and financial posting. It is a regular, full-time position with a Secret clearance required to start, up to 10% local travel, and a pay range of $75,200-$158,100.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and support end-to-end Transportation Management processes, including freight order management, planning, carrier selection and execution workflows
• Oversee freight settlement and charge calculation, and manage enhancements and continuous improvement
• Integrate TM with Financial Accounting (FI): configure freight settlement documents and invoice verification, support automatic posting of freight costs, and set up general ledger account determination and cost posting
• Work with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable on freight invoice reconciliation, and with S/4HANA, FI, MM, SD and EWM teams
• Partner with interface teams to ensure accurate data exchange with government financial systems of record
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and functional designs, and optimize logistics and supply chain processes

Required profile

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management
• Proven experience with freight cost calculation and settlement, invoice verification, general ledger account determination, and order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
• Track record of delivering projects on time

Required skills

• Hands-on configuration of TM and FI modules
• Understanding of integration points between TM, FI, SD and MM
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to turn business needs into technical solutions

Preferred: embedded TM in SAP S/4HANA, intercompany freight billing, revenue recognition of freight charges, EDI/API integrations, federal or public sector experience, global transportation experience, DoD IAT Level I certification, and SAP TM or FI certification.
