SAP Software Test Engineer (FI/CO)

About the role

CACI is looking for an experienced SAP Software Test Engineer to support USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), a mission-critical platform built on SAP S/4HANA ERP integration. The role performs hands-on manual testing of a large-scale SAP implementation, working with developers, business analysts and product owners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. It is a full-time, regular position with up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and functional requirements to define test scenarios, edge cases and acceptance criteria.
• Design, build and maintain test scripts for SAP FI and CO modules, workflows and integrations.
• Run functional testing across JTMS modules and customizations within a SAFe Agile framework.
• Document defects with reproduction steps, track them to resolution and share findings with developers.
• Create and maintain test cases, data sets and traceability matrices, and take part in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve testing processes and QA practices.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of manual software testing of large-scale ERP systems.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA testing experience, with a strong preference for SAP FI and CO module experience.
• Solid understanding of SAFe, SDLC and Agile practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
