About the role

Oregano's is seeking enthusiastic sandwich bakers to join its fast‑paced kitchen team on a part‑time basis. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality meals that delight our guests while working in a supportive, training‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality food by accurately following recipes and procedures.
• Manage your assigned station efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety by adhering to strict sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff, including assisting with dishwashing when needed.
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, and any incidents promptly.

Required profile

• High‑volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Valid state‑issued food safety and handling certification.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot or cold conditions.
• Minimum age 16 (18 to operate certain equipment) with effective communication skills.
