Sales Support Specialist

About the role

Manulife is hiring a Sales Support Specialist in Boston to join a team that supports the life insurance pre-sale process and helps the Sales & Distribution team reach its strategic priorities and sales goals. The role covers life insurance sales topics such as product information, case design, illustrations, outbound and inbound communications, new business and underwriting, and the tools and resources used. It is an existing vacancy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the life insurance pre-sale process and help the Sales & Distribution team achieve its goals.
• Work on product information, case design, illustrations, outbound and inbound communications, and the new business and underwriting process.
• Use the various tools and resources available to support producers and customers.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and to study to obtain the required licenses within 4 months of hire.
• Must pass at least one FINRA exam within the first 10 weeks of hire.
• Team player with excellent phone demeanor, strong sales acumen and customer service skills.
• Problem solver who is flexible and customer centric; knowledge of financial services is a plus.

Required skills

• Preferred licenses: FINRA SIE, Series 6, Series 63 and state insurance licenses.
• Ability to acquire these licenses within the stated timeframes to stay in the role.
