Sales Specialist - Senior Living

About the role

Experience Senior Living is hiring a Sales Specialist to drive occupancy and revenue growth across its senior living communities. The role showcases communities to prospective residents and their families, and requires 100% travel to communities in the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach sales-adjacent staff such as concierge, director and resident experience teams, and coach them on move-ins and the use of the Sherpa database.
• Review tour paths, processes, physical plant and model apartments, and suggest improvements to the tour experience and presentation.
• Grow revenue through in-house and external sales, public relations and effective use of the database and scheduler; act as the community sales professional leasing units.
• Make sales calls, respond to telephone inquiries and conduct tours with prospective residents; run daily sales strategy meetings and follow-up home visits.
• Track move-ins and move-outs, maintain the CRM contact library, and develop relationships with referral sources such as A Place for Mom and Caring.com.
• Help stage the community and common areas, support staff training, research local competition and provide reports to regional management.

Required profile

• Experience in senior living, including assisted living and memory care, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education preferred.
• Sales or leasing background in healthcare or senior living helpful; relationship selling and closing ability required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays; current driver's license required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• English reading, speaking and understanding.

What we offer

• Annual salary of $115,000-$125,000.
