Sales Representative – Southern Utah/Nevada Territory

About the role

Macmillan Learning is seeking a Sales Representative to cover the Southern Utah and Nevada territory. The role focuses on promoting and selling textbooks, digital resources, and software solutions to college faculty and staff across campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to local college campuses (20‑25% overnight) to present and sell educational products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, administrators, and technology staff.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for digital products and act as the primary support contact.
• Use Salesforce to track sales activities and maintain accurate customer data.
• Provide market feedback on competition, trends, and product reception.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel up to 5 hours daily.
• Flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week during peak seasons.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.
• Comfort presenting technology to individuals and groups.
