Sales Representative - Sage Products, Arizona

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Sage Sales Representative in Phoenix, Arizona, to promote and sell its Sage products designed to address preventable never-events in healthcare. The role is field-based, 100% commission, and involves building strong customer relationships, answering inquiries, negotiating pricing and managing orders. It requires a high level of clinical knowledge and a consultative approach.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve your assigned quota by building relationships with key account influencers, distributors and end-users.
• Act as a resident Sage expert for clinical specialists, nurses, educators and administrators, covering your own products and competitors' offerings.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through teamwork, honesty, integrity and responsive service.
• Partner with customers to improve protocols and processes, delivering clinical and financial improvements.
• Position Stryker's products in the marketplace by tracking industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory shifts.
• Monitor performance, exceed sales targets and collaborate with marketing and support teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, set up and demonstrate equipment up to 50 pounds, and to stand, kneel, bend and sit for long periods.
• Good coordination of eye, hand and foot movements, and the cognitive abilities needed for reading, memory and visual and auditory discrimination.

Required skills

• Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development and introduction, P&L management and field testing.
• Consultative sales approach and customer service.
