Sales Producer - Employee Health & Benefits

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency's Midwest Region is a full-service brokerage offering business insurance, employee benefits, private client insurance and retirement services. As a Sales Producer on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you will build a prospecting plan, turn prospects into clients and deliver the Agency's value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive prospecting plan, including targets and methodology for turning prospects into clients
• Network with centres of influence to develop new opportunities
• Deliver the Agency's value proposition for each opportunity and align the Agency's resources and capabilities
• Leverage referrals and targeted introductions from clients, prospects and business relationships

Required profile

• Proven success prospecting and building a book of business through B2B selling
• Experience in the midmarket (companies with 100+ employees)
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-Suite executives
• Assertive yet consultative approach
• A plus: Life & Health license or ability to obtain it upon hire, BS/BA in Business, Insurance or a related field, and employee health and benefits insurance industry experience

What we offer

• Base salary of $65,880 to $122,745, depending on experience, skills, training, location, certifications and education, plus possible performance-based incentives
