Sales Engineer – Eastern PA & New York

About the role

Dormer Pramet, part of the Sandvik Group, is looking for a Sales Engineer to cover the Eastern Pennsylvania and New York territory. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to grow market share, introduce new tooling products and strengthen relationships with end‑users and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new end‑user customers and expand distributor partnerships to increase product penetration.
• Provide technical guidance on solid carbide drills, high‑performance taps and indexable tooling.
• Conduct regular customer visits, respond to complex inquiries and deliver tooling recommendations.
• Maintain the CRM system with contacts, opportunities and customer data.
• Achieve sales targets and support regional marketing initiatives.
• Travel within the territory and occasional international trips; operate a company vehicle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with metalworking/cutting tools.
• 3+ years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. work authorization, valid driver’s license and ability to pass facility clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM systems (preferred).
