Sales Development Representative

About the role

Arch Aerial, a commercial drone services company based in Houston, Texas, is hiring a full-time Sales Development Representative. This is a pure-play outbound sales development position focused on identifying new business, initiating conversations with prospects, building relationships and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team. It is not an account management or closing role.

Key responsibilities

• Proactive outbound prospecting by cold calling, email, LinkedIn and other direct channels across energy, oil and gas, construction, utilities, infrastructure and other commercial and industrial markets
• Research prospects, identify decision-makers and build targeted outreach strategies
• Hold initial discovery conversations, explain the value proposition and schedule qualified introductory meetings
• Maintain CRM records of activity, interactions and meeting outcomes, and coordinate introductions with the sales team
• Follow up with interested prospects and reengage previously contacted ones
• Support industry conferences, trade shows, networking events and charity events, including booth setup and post-event outreach
• Track personal performance against activity and meeting-generation goals and take part in regular sales meetings

Required profile

• Enjoys talking to people, is comfortable making many outbound calls and handling rejection professionally
• Self-motivated, organized and able to maintain consistent daily prospecting activity
• Willingness to learn about commercial drone technology and the energy, construction and infrastructure industries
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment
