Sales Development Representative

About the role

Billtrust is seeking a Sales Development Representative to engage new enterprise accounts, support the sales team, and help achieve booking targets. The role offers structured onboarding, coaching, and exposure to the enterprise buyer’s journey in a fast‑growing AI‑first fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and convey Billtrust’s value proposition through targeted messaging and customer stories.
• Execute program strategies by promptly following up with prospects to schedule meetings for sales executives.
• Develop a holistic view of the pipeline by understanding the buyer’s journey, activities, and entry/exit criteria.
• Improve communication skills through cold‑calling, personalized emailing, and objection handling coaching.
• Collaborate with sales executives on prospecting plans and hit predefined conversion rates.
• Participate in weekly role‑playing exercises and achieve product training certification.

Required profile

• Located in the greater Nashville, TN area with ability to work hybrid (3 days onsite).
• At least one year of related work experience or relevant education.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn, develop, and grow.
• Internship experience with a SaaS company is preferred.
