Sales Development Representative – Chains – San Diego North

About the role

This full‑time sales development position rotates across multiple territories, focusing on maximizing sales of supplier brands to trade accounts in the San Diego North region. The role may also support the Merchandising Department during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Call on accounts, create efficient routing patterns, and deliver professional sales presentations covering display ideas, new products, and promotions.
• Maintain product levels, restock shelves where legal, and ensure brand visibility using point‑of‑sale materials.
• Collect payments, process credits/returns, and manage aged receivables.
• Educate account staff through training seminars on brands and conduct customer issue resolution.
• Strategize to meet distribution, volume, and activity goals while tracking pricing, programming, and purchase history.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit is preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and presentation software.
• Basic PC and computer literacy.
• Ability to multi‑task, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines.
