Sales Account Manager

About the role

Saputo, a top 10 global dairy processor, is hiring a Sales Account Manager to join its field-based sales team in the Southeast region. The role supports an assigned list of customer accounts on the Retail Sales Team and provides sales support to the full team, including project management, data analytics and facilitation of internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support assigned accounts, identify new customers for branded items and co-develop annual business growth, sales and margin plans aligned with company and category goals.
• Manage deliverables with internal stakeholders and customers so that customer expectations are met.
• Plan, execute, close and follow up on negotiations that create mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Take part in the customer forecast and annual budget process for volume and Sales EBIT planning.
• Facilitate customer agreements such as NDAs with internal legal stakeholders.
• Lead sales calls and business reviews and develop presentations to drive customer initiatives and growth plans.
• Help the Sales Team create strategies, objectives and project plans that open up new market opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or coursework in progress.
• 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in sales or adjacent functions.
• Strong sales drive, excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to build rapid rapport with customers and stakeholders of different styles and backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficient analytical skills, able to spot trends and actions in large data sets.
• Competent with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
