OluKai Retail Lead - Fort Lauderdale

About the role

A new OluKai store is opening in Fort Lauderdale in October 2026. The Retail Lead, or Huaka'i, welcomes customers and delivers a strong brand experience as the first point of contact. The position is part-time, under 29 hours per week, and helps launch the store from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store to standard, manage keys and security, and act as Manager on Duty when needed
• Coach retail associates and help with back-of-house duties such as receiving, processing product and restocking
• Help launch the new store and uphold company policies and procedures
• Engage customers, tell the brand's story and share product design inspiration
• Solve customer issues independently while keeping a positive attitude, and maintain visual standards and store cleanliness
• Use POS correctly and participate in local events and community programs

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a leadership or key-holder role
• Available for at least three shifts a week (4-8 hours each)
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 30 lbs

• Knowledge of OluKai product lines and current fashion trends
