Safety & Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Site Safety Coordinator audits safety and quality processes, extracts insights from IFS reports, and supports the development of safety programs across Barnhart Crane & Rigging branches.

Key responsibilities

• Audit safety and quality data in IFS, including JHAs, job tickets, observations, and maintenance records.
• Identify trends, coaching moments, and training opportunities through monthly data reviews.
• Ensure monthly safety audits are completed and documentation is accurate.
• Prepare monthly summary reports and present findings to branch managers.
• Utilize IFS and Excel to create customized data presentations for decision‑making.
• Serve as backup Safety Professional at the RPL site near Monroe, LA, maintaining certifications and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience auditing safety programs or quality control in a field/branch environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret and present complex data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multiple organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 25% and work onsite at a branch.
• Pass pre‑employment fit‑for‑duty and drug screening.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFS software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, sorting, filtering).
