Room Attendant / Housekeeper

About the role

The Room Attendant / Housekeeper ensures guest rooms meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This position supports overall guest satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming environment and assisting with lobby duties when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Change bed linens, replace towels and amenities, and process lost‑and‑found items according to policy.
• Report any needed repairs in guest rooms to management.
• Assist with house‑person and lobby attendant duties during peak periods or staffing shortages.
• Follow safety protocols, wear protective equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lb, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
