Room Attendant – Housekeeper

About the role

The Room Attendant – Housekeeper ensures guest rooms meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, interacting with guests and supporting the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to established standards, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
• Change bed linens, replace towels and amenities, and process lost‑and‑found items.
• Notify management of any needed repairs and assist with house‑person and lobby duties when short‑staffed.
• Maintain safety by wearing protective equipment and following MSDS and OSHA guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.

Required skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lb, and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures.
