Room Attendant / Housekeeper

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Alexandria Old Town/Southwest, where you will ensure guest rooms meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to established standards, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Change bed linens, replace towels and amenities, and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Notify managers of any needed repairs and process lost‑and‑found items.
• Perform house‑person and lobby attendant duties during peak periods or when short‑staffed.
• Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
