About the role

The Trauma Unit (MedSurg) at Kings Hwy needs a Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality patient care during the night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). The RN will use the Nursing Process, follow the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, and contribute to the unit’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

Apply the Nursing Process to deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care.
Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
Utilize data and knowledge to drive improvements and achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior work experience required.

Required skills

Computer skills for data entry and information retrieval.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and related software.
