About the role

The Orthopaedic OR RN will join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus, supporting a high‑volume orthopaedic surgery program. You will work full‑time day shift, providing peri‑operative care to patients undergoing joint replacements and other orthopaedic procedures.

Key responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the operative setting, including scrub and circulating functions.
Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care throughout each procedure.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
Minimum one year of RN experience in the OR or completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program.
Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within six months if performing moderate/procedural sedation.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtain within six months of hire).
