About the role

Ochsner is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead multiple surgery clinics, including Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and General Surgery, on Jeff Highway. This role ensures high‑quality patient care while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct and assist licensed and ancillary staff in delivering safe, effective patient care.
  • Coordinate clinical operations, maintain communication, and oversee staff training and development.
  • Adapt to changes positively and assume responsibility for professional development and credential maintenance.

Required profile

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice and CPR certification.

Required skills

  • CPR certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
