About the role

The Supervisor RN leads the Palliative Medicine Clinic team, ensuring safe, high‑quality patient care while coordinating with multidisciplinary staff. This full‑time position supports clinical operations and staff development at Ochsner Health.

Key responsibilities

Directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members in delivering patient care.
Maintains effective communication, supervises, trains, and develops clinic staff.
Coordinates clinical operations and ensures compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Current RN license in the state of practice and CPR certification.

Required skills

CPR certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
