About the role

The RN Supervisor for Behavioral Health works day shifts to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high‑quality patient care. This position is responsible for coordinating, delegating, and supervising nursing interventions while ensuring efficient discharge planning and resource use.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee patient care plans, coordinate clinical operations on the unit, and communicate critical issues to appropriate parties.
• Supervise licensed nurses, patient care technicians, and other health professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Serve as a liaison between staff, the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and other nursing resources.
• Manage resources efficiently, including human, environmental, and material assets.

Required profile

• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast‑paced, stressful healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the nursing process and patient assessment.
• Ability to coordinate clinical operations and manage staff performance.
