About the role

The RN Staff member provides direct patient care in the Day of Surgery Center, applying the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
Educate patients, families, and staff, adapting teaching strategies to diverse needs.
Participate in unit and department strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support certification.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Registered Nurse licensure.
