About the role
The RN Resident will work on the 4D Medical Care and Telemetry unit at Lutheran Hospital, providing direct nursing care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including behavioral health patients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and follow physician orders.
- Assess discharge needs and educate patients and families.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Current or pending RN licensure in the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- New graduate or less than one year of acute inpatient RN experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- RN licensure.
