Registered Nurse – Geriatric Psychiatry (Night Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital’s Geriatric Psych Unit provides specialized mental health care for patients 55 and older. This full‑time night‑shift RN position supports patient evaluation, treatment, stabilization, and education throughout the care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans and document patient conditions.
• Assess discharge needs, coordinate care transitions, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and one year of acute care or military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support certification; ACLS certification required for critical‑care areas within the first year.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if applicable).
