Registered Nurse – Adult Psychiatry (Night Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for its 2B Adult Psychiatry unit. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) provides round‑the‑clock care for adult and older adult patients with acute behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if in a critical‑care area.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in medication administration and documentation.
• Ability to assess and respond to patient needs in a high‑stress, night‑shift environment.
