RN Procedural Float Pool - Part-Time Day Shift

About the role

AdventHealth in Denver is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for its procedural float pool, working day shifts. The nurse provides direct patient care and supports the clinical team, with a 5K sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and the option to earn up to 20% salary increases through a voluntary Clinical Ladder Program.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reviewing them regularly
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety and regulatory requirements
• Provide emotional support and supervise and delegate care to the healthcare team
• Respond promptly to code situations and take part in performance improvement activities

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 1 year of procedural experience (required)
• Registered Nurse license (required) and Basic Life Support certification (required)
• Fluent English, read, spoken and written
