Registered Nurse Float Pool - Night Shift

About the role

AdventHealth in Denver is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its float pool, working nights. The nurse provides direct patient care across shifts and coordinates with medical staff and ancillary departments. The pay range is $34.60-$59.83.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reviewing them regularly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and follow physician orders and hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, interventions and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety and regulatory requirements
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate care provided by other team members
• Respond promptly to code situations and take part in performance improvement activities

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required
