RN – Pre‑Op/PACU

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital as a Registered Nurse caring for patients in the pre‑operative and post‑anesthesia care units. You will work in a Magnet‑recognized facility that offers state‑of‑the‑art technology and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, insert IVs, and administer medications.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, document patient conditions, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders, coordinate discharge planning, and provide patient and family education.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring.
• Ability to insert IVs and administer medications safely.
