RN Preceptor – Home Health (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join BAYADA Home Health as a full‑time RN Preceptor, providing direct patient care while mentoring newly hired nurses in the Raleigh Visits office.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and train newly hired RNs during orientation, including accompanying them on home visits.
• Maintain a small, manageable patient caseload and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to evaluate progress and provide feedback.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model, promoting quality patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Current NC RN license with prior home health experience.
• At least one year of recent medical/surgical clinical experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.

Required skills

• Home health/OASIS documentation experience.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Medication administration and wound‑care procedures.
