RN – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

About the role

The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Euclid Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct care to post‑surgical patients as they recover from anesthesia. You will monitor vital signs, manage pain, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to diverse post‑surgical patients.
• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Assess pain levels, administer prescribed medications, and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Communicate patient conditions to the care team and coordinate discharge planning.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute‑care or military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in medication administration and patient monitoring.
