RN – Neuro/Stroke Unit

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Euclid Hospital as an RN on the Neuro/Stroke Unit, providing comprehensive stroke care to patients on the 9th floor Med/Surg unit. This night shift position (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) supports a Primary Stroke Center certified by The Joint Commission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders, including medication administration.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families, considering cultural and special concerns.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Required skills

• RN licensure.
