Occupational Therapist - Inpatient - Acute - PRN

About the role

The Occupational Therapist will provide inpatient acute care services on a PRN (as needed) basis at Euclid Hospital, supporting patients to regain independence and improve functional outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive and/or psychosocial deficits affecting independent living skills.
  • Assess patients' ability to safely perform daily activities and design appropriate plans of care.
  • Implement treatment plans using suitable modalities and document progress.
  • Monitor, modify, and coordinate care with occupational therapy assistants and technicians.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about deficits, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: experience in an acute care setting.
