LPN – Float Pool

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Pool position at Euclid Hospital provides flexible, high‑quality care across multiple units and locations. You will rotate day and night shifts, working with diverse patient populations while gaining broad clinical experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, document and report patient data and observations to the RN or authorized provider.
• Implement and contribute to care plans as directed by an RN.
• Administer medications and treatments authorized by a provider and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and educate patients and families.
• Participate in orientation of new employees and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of patient care experience (preferred).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (preferred).
