RN - Pediatric Trauma Program Coordinator - Kings Hwy

About the role

This position creates and executes project work plans for the Pediatric Trauma Program, manages day‑to‑day operational aspects, and keeps the multidisciplinary team updated. The coordinator collaborates with clinicians and staff to ensure the plan of care is delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage implementation timelines, provide clinical and technical support, and develop site‑specific education and improvement strategies.
• Conduct system and process reviews to identify opportunities for productivity, quality, and customer service enhancements.
• Serve as liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners, representing the program in meetings and conferences.
• Lead the team, chair assigned committees, and adapt communication to meet the needs of the pediatric patient population.
• Perform additional duties as required to support program objectives.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (required); Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred certification in a clinical specialty area.
